Neunos Electrotherapeutics is a medical device company that has developed an implantable, minimal-invasive transcranial neurostimulator system intended for the treatment of epileptic seizures. The system is equipped with a seizure suppression mechanism that automatically detects the onset of seizures and delivers transcranial electrical stimulation to terminate them before they escalate into fatal accidents. This device offers a valuable alternative for patients with pharmaceutically intractable epilepsies who have not responded well to traditional treatments.
