Dr. Kevin Hernandez joined Technology Opportunities and Ventures (TOV) as a licensing associate in 2025. He holds a PhD in Cell & Molecular Biology (Microbiology) from the University of Pennsylvania, and brings a strong background in life science research combined with a passion for translating academic innovations into impactful healthcare solutions. During graduate school, Dr. Hernandez worked as a healthcare consultant for early-stage biotech companies. They served as Co-Director of Partnerships for Nucleate Philadelphia, connecting industry leaders with emerging life science innovations. At NYU, he collaborates with biomedical experts to evaluate invention disclosures, identify commercial partners, and conduct market assessments to help bring new technologies to market.
