Business Development Manager
Amit Duvshani, PhD, is a business development manager handling a diverse portfolio of inventions in the life sciences, ranging from oncology to neurodegenerative disease and gene editing techniques. He is in charge of reviewing and triaging new technology disclosures and marketing and commercializing them with external partners. He serves as the point of contact for NYU Grossman School of Medicine faculty for their contracts, patenting, and commercialization needs. Dr. Duvshani was formerly a technology transfer consultant for a major NYC hospital, an intern at NYU’s technology transfer office, and had completed the Mount Sinai Innovation Partners fellowship. Dr. Duvshani was a postdoctoral fellow in cell biology at Princeton University and holds a PhD in physiology and cellular biophysics from Columbia University.
