About HealthVenture Exchange:
Health Venture Exchange events are collaborative meetups designed to foster networking and ideate on challenges faced by NYU’s innovative startups that are working to bring solutions to market that solve unmet healthcare needs and improve patient outcomes.

Each event will feature a select startup that will showcase its innovation and share its challenges. Attendees will have the opportunity to brainstorm solutions to these challenges. This year's featured startup is CaroRhythm. This is a unique opportunity to engage with NYU startups and contribute to the advancement of healthcare technology. Lunch will be provided.

Featured NYU Startup: CaroRhythm
CaroRhythm: Co-founded by Nisha Maheshwari (Tandon ‘25) and Lokesh Sharma (Tandon ‘28), CaroRhythm is revolutionizing post-stroke care with CaroSense, a non-invasive wearable device for continuous outpatient stroke monitoring. CaroRhythm is addressing a critical gap in stroke survivor management by providing real-time, actionable insights to prevent stroke recurrence and improve patient outcomes. A winner of NYU Stern Berkley Center Challenge and a participant in NYU’s Tech Venture Accelerator, the team is now preparing to raise a $900K pre-seed round for R&D and pilot studies. (NSF I-Corps/Tech Venture Program '25/Female Founders Fellowship '24).
